It is narrated by Ibn e Marduyah, where it is mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When Jesus (peace be upon him) was placed before a teacher by his mother, the teacher said, ‘Write “Bismillah.”‘ Jesus asked, ‘What is “Bismillah”?’ The teacher replied, ‘I do not know.’ Jesus then explained:
- Bismillah: ‘The “ب” refers to Allah’s “بہا” meaning His Glory; the “س” refers to His “سنا,” meaning Light and Guidance; the “م” refers to His “ملک” meaning Sovereignty. “اللہ” means the God of all;

When you begin to perform ablution (wudu), say ‘Bismillah.’ For as long as you are engaged in ablution, the guardian angels will continue to record your good deeds until you complete the ablution.” It is also narrated “The ablution of a person, who does not mention the name of Allah during it, is not valid”(Ibn Majah:399)
